Bret A. Harsham

Bret Harsham is a consultant specializing in intellectual property matters at Elysium Digital.

Bret has over two decades of experience in the software industry as a research scientist and software engineer. Prior to joining Elysium Digital, he designed and developed speech recognition, audio, and multimodal user interfaces, API toolkits, and computer network security software. Bret is an inventor on ten U.S. patents. Bret’s other areas of expertise include usability analysis, natural language processing, automotive user interfaces, distributed systems, and data visualization.

Bret holds a B.S. in computer science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Bret serves as a coach for FIRST LEGO League (FLL) robotics teams, and has taught computer science and math classes to both high school and elementary school children.
